During a visit back in 2005 to one of our customers who had his cattle on our ‘Sandy Bryant’s Mixture’, the farmer drew attention to the small blue healer cattle dog that was energetically working with a farm hand to bring about 50 cows up into the yards.

“That dog passed her prime over a year ago and has been seeing out her well earned retirement with as little activity as possible” the farmer stated in his usual mater of fact manner.

The farmer continued. “Made me real curious about the new lease of life the old dog had obtained”.

“The old girl is now real serious about fronting up for work when the ute engine is cranked over around 7 each morning”.

The farmer’s tone of voice had changed and a broad smile crept over his face as together we watched in admiration, the old blue heeler demonstrating her skills.

“Worked it out” the farmer continued on, “It’s that Sandy Bryant stuff of yours that we’re giving the cattle in the water troughs. The dogs are drinking the same water, that’s the only thing different for them and the only rational explanation for this sudden change in physical appearance and energy”, he said with a broad grin.

“And by the way”, the farmer said as the grin now seemed to cover his whole face, “If you think the dog is something to talk about, come on down to the back paddock and have a look at my daughter’s 25 year old stock horse that’s been drinking out of the same water trough”.

We did just that!

We returned back home and commenced trials on other dogs and horses with the emphasis on old or unfit animals where an improvement would be easier to notice.

Sandy Bryant’s Mixture really made a difference, the results were dramatic!

Convinced that the dogs and horses had benefited from our Sandy Bryant’s Mixture, much testing and modification of our original Cattle & Sheep mineral supplement to suit the requirements of horses and dogs commenced.

We now have launched in 2007 both Sandy Bryant’s Wonder Horse mixture, and Sandy Bryant’s Wonder Dog mixture.

When any animal is deficient in basic trace minerals and then receives those minerals in the pure organically stabilised form presented in all of the Sandy Bryant’s mixtures, it would certainly have a positive effect no matter what age or history of the animal.
